All my life I've wanted to write this letter (and you never received one like it before).
But now I can — and here it is !
I trust that what I reveal here in these pages strikes a chord in you, and that what you learn in these few pages opens a door — a door that you may never even knew existed, or one you may have long forgotten (or already given up on) . . . .
Perhaps like you too, I read every self-help book I could get my hands on (while holding my breath, hoping the bookstore clerk didn't call for credit card authorization), attended more "self-improvement" seminars than I care to remember, and even went to "career counselors" to find out what I was supposed to do with my life! (I'm still uncomfortable admitting all this now!)
For the fact is, all you need to know already resides within you — and always has! — right now. It's just that you don't know the "key" to "unlocking" what you need to know, and that's what I'm going to share with you — right now — in this letter . . . .
But you've heard and read this a thousand times . . .
. . . so why are you still not living the life you want ? Why haven't your Dreams come true . . . ?
Please read this sentence:
FINISHED FILES ARE THE
RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC
STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.
Now, counting them only once (!), how many times does the letter F appear
Did you count three F's ? Most people do because our minds read the words
Now, how do you read these letters?
Most people read them as
But a few individuals see that they spell
"The great secret of success in life is for a man to be ready when his opportunity comes."
Opportunities surround all of us all the time — it's our perception that determines whether we recognize them or not.
"The great secret of success in life is for a man to be ready when his opportunity comes." —Benjamin Disraeli
What we perceive is what we receive in life, so Success depends entirely upon your perception!
This private meeting with
legendary investor Sir John
Templeton was right near the
top of my personal and
professional Wish List!
Sir John Templeton is a hero in the financial world. In a sidebar column of a Forbes Magazine cover story (titled "A Nondenominational Missionary"), Mr. Templeton said "A person is more likely to be successful if he uses spiritual principles, and the more you practice spirituality, the more you learn . . . . all careers are more successful and satisfying if you use spiritual principles. I can't think of a single exception . . . ."
Note: On Monday, July 13, 1998, after applying the very techniques and principles I will teach you in my brand new 407-page UTS Handbook, I was honored to sit with Mr. Templeton for an hour-long, one-on-one meeting in his private office in Nassau, The Bahamas. We discussed the financial markets, trading commodities, his "counterintuitive" comments in Forbes magazine, and the practical application of spiritual (psychological) principles. (As I left his office, Mr. Templeton's last words to me were, "And if you ever create a commodity mutual fund, I'll be your first investor!")
Mr. Templeton's words of wisdom are not religious. And if the word "spirituality" bothers you, substitute "psychology" instead.
Do you know someone who always comes out "smelling like a rose"? Someone who turns whatever he or she touches into "gold"? Well he or she knows how to apply spiritual (psychological) energy. They aren't any smarter than you, they just know how to apply this little-understood principle.
Here's why Success eludes most people:
"You can't THINK your way into right action, but you can ACT your way into right thinking (perception) !"
I steered towards the orange cone, accelerated to 40 miles per hour, made a hard
"Wait ! Let me try that again !" I blurted, feeling a bit embarrassed that I had
I drove us back to the starting point and accelerated towards the orange
"What's going on?!" I shouted ?!
"Try it again," my instructor said patiently.
Three more tries . . . and three more impacts with that orange cone!
"I can't believe this!" I said in exasperation.
"Want to know what you're doing wrong?" the instructor asked knowingly.
"Yes! This is just too weird! Tell me, please!" I shouted, hitting the steering wheel with both hands.
"You're looking at the cone," my instructor said slowly and deliberately.
"Well of course I am!" I said in defiance. "Because I don't want to hit it!" (Then I realized how stupid that sounded.)
He calmly and purposefully continued explaining: "You have to look where you want to go."
I thought about that a few moments and then asked, "You mean I'm not doing that?!" (realizing how stupid that question sounded too!).
"No," he said, "you're looking at the cone, and that's why you keep hitting it. You have to look only where you want to go."
Three more times I hit the orange cone! It was actually physically difficult NOT to look at it ! It's strange, but I actually felt somehow irresponsible to not look at the orange cone, as I finally began catching on to turning my head and looking where I wanted the truck to go. (A couple of times I placed my hand on my cheek and actually pushed my head to force myself to look where I wanted to go! This is how ingrained the wrong action is in us.)
I was slowly learning that the truck does, indeed, go where your head and eyes point, but part of me still felt compelled to look at that orange cone.
On the fourth attempt, I didn't hit the cone, and actually ended up on the right side of it (but still very close!).
I kept practicing this driving exercise until I could place that truck exactly where I wanted it to go: to the right, the left, in front of, and even beyond that once-dreaded orange cone!
This practical physical example clearly illustrates the all-powerful psychological principle that's now holding you back! And you intuitively know this. (Didn't a light bulb just turn on in your head as you read this?!)
"In the long run, men hit only what they aim at. Therefore . . . they had better aim at something high." — Henry David Thoreau
"Hitch your wagon to a star." — Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thoreau and Emerson didn't have orange traffic cones in their day, but that's exactly what they're referring to when they advise us to ". . . aim at something high" and "Hitch your wagon to a star" because, after all, "In the long run, men hit only what they aim at"!
Even the Bible points out this universal psychological trap:
"That which I feared the most came to pass, and what I dread befalls me." — Proverb
And here's the important point: It's not enough to simply know about this principle — you must know it. My instructor told me what I was doing wrong, and I "understood" it mentally. But learning how to apply this new technique still required practice, and several more attempts, before I knew it and actually mastered maneuvering anywhere around that cone! You can't just think about it — it requires action . . . .
And this explains why all the self-help books, tapes, videos, and seminars haven't opened the door to your Dreams. Just knowing about the orange cone doesn't prevent you from hitting it! It takes a bit of practice because what you're learning is counterintuitive. In other words, what you normally consider the right thing to do is exactly the wrong thing to do! (How many times have you said "I'm my own worst enemy!"?)
You must actually work at and learn how to do that which you really wish to do, and not what your own mind tells you to do! This explains why Success is so elusive and uncommon.
"Many men go fishing their entire lives without knowing it is not fish they are after."
— Henry David Thoreau.
"To be really successful, you must master a simple but counterintuitive principle."
— Legendary investor Sir John Templeton (Cover story of the January 16, 1995 issue of Forbes magazine)
And this is why my brand new Ultimate Technique for Success Club is truly one-of-a-kind and so powerful: It teaches you, coaches you — step by step — how to ignore the Orange Cones and "aim at something high"! You must learn how to be "counterintuitive"! And your own, personal LifeStar is what I take you by the hand and teach you to discover, focus on, act upon, and realize.
What is your "LifeStar"? It's what you love to do. The true definition of Success can only be "Doing what you love to do" — whatever that is! Going to movies, watching certain television programs, writing letters, scouring antique stores, collecting stamps, training dogs, repairing model trains, sewing, teaching . . . . whatever you love to do! No matter how "silly," "irresponsible," "childish," "useless," or even embarrassing it may sound! All that matters is that you love to do it !
A love of doing something has been planted in you. Let's call it a "seed." When given the right conditions, that "celestial seed" takes root; breaks through to daylight; continues to prosper, grow, and attract all the nourishment it needs; until it blossoms and blooms into its full, natural glory.
What is your "celestial seed" and what will it blossom into? Find out ! That's why it's been planted in you . . . .
(NOTE: Can you put into words what it is you love to do? Maybe not ! A lot of us really weren't very clear about what it is we really love to do — it was pretty foggy actually! We suppressed it along the way as authority figures in our life told us to "get serious and grow up !")
"That's the real trouble with the world, too many people grow up. They forget. They don't remember what it's like to be twelve years old." — Walt Disney
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."
— Pablo Picasso
So what are Disney and Picasso saying? The "problem" and "the real trouble" is that people get distracted, side-tracked, and derailed by Orange Cones!
But consider this: You do know what you don't love to do! And if you know where not to go, you're not lost! In fact, then, Orange Cones can be used to actually help you locate your LifeStar! When I learned how to place that truck anywhere around, in front of, or behind the orange cone, I always knew where the orange cone was. What I had to learn was not to block it from my awareness, but rather, how to not focus upon it. Right now you're focusing upon the Orange Cones in your life — the things you're afraid of: your job, your house, the mortgage, the stack of bills, your responsibilities, retirement, what you haven't accomplished, your age, etc., etc., etc. And I'll show you how to identify those Orange Cones and use them to navigate to your own LifeStar.
So if you feel "stuck," thank Goodness you do! Why? Because that's your cue — your inner prompting — that you're meant to be doing something bigger, something higher, something grander in your life. As I used to say when I was struggling and frustrated, "I feel like a 50,000-watt transmitter with nowhere to transmit . . . ." Do you feel frustrated too? If so, fantastic! Because that means you're ready for the grander life that's calling you!
Let me explain using another physical reflection of a powerful psychological principle:
Thirst proves the existence of water! Thirst is built into our genes. It's part of our physical make-up to motivate us towards that which we require to survive! If we didn't require water, we wouldn't feel thirsty! And in the very same way, feeling "stuck" proves that a grander life is calling you!
Another fact to realize is that the grander life that's calling you (let's call it "Success" — the definition of which is unique to you) is not common. Success is uncommon (and actually relatively rare). Most people, in fact, do not feel compelled to move higher. Most people merely wish to "make it through the day" — not up and out of their well-worn rut !
"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." — Oscar Wilde
"Beaten paths are for beaten men." — Eric A. Johnston (President of US Chamber of Commerce)
"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." — Thoreau
With this new understanding of what's really going on in your life, how do you feel now?! Are you ready to begin moving onward and upward . . . ?
Now before we get to work on you, let me illustrate by telling you what I love to do:
Looking back on it now, I realize that it took years before I could even say these out loud to someone — I thought they'd laugh at me and think I was foolish! So, what could the Universe do with someone who has such "eccentric" loves as these?
My Orange Cone was to give in, get a job, and work for a paycheck. So I tried everything else: Amway, Shaklee, import/export, mail order, a Blackjack card-counting system, horse race handicapping, placing classified ads, buying and selling raw land, playing drums in a band, booking bands, teaching music, more multi-level-marketing, selling a retailer's promotion service, loan brokering, selling life insurance . . . .
"Experience is not what happens to a man. It is what a man does with what happens to him." — Aldous Huxley
"It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters." — Epictetus
(It's not about the Orange Cones in your life; it's how you view them: Do you use them, or do you let them use you?! Again, it's all in your perception . . . .)
"What you are aware of you are in control of; what you are not aware of is in control of you." — Anthony de Mello: Priest, spirituality author, and speaker
And my love of going to the mailbox, writing letters, and teaching turned into a personal and financial empire greater than anything I ever dreamed — I wouldn't have had the audacity (or imagination) to put it on a "Goal List" (and you don't either)!
Steve Jobs, 55, is the founder and CEO of Apple Computer (which revolutionized the personal computer industry). He also founded Pixar Animation Studios (the world's largest computer animation company) that The Walt Disney Company purchased for $7.4 billion in 2006). In 2010 he ranked #42 on the Forbes 400 Richest Americans List (with a net worth of $6.1 billion), and #17 on Forbes World's Most Powerful People List !).
On June 14, 2005, Steve Jobs delivered a powerful, moving, and keenly insightful Commencement address to the graduates of Stanford University. What he shared is rare insight and wisdom that all of us can take to heart and benefit from.
In his rather short, 14-minute speech, Mr. Jobs began by revealing his humble upbringing and how his adoptive parents couldn't afford to support his college education. So he dropped out of college, but continued to "drop in" (as he put it) on only those classes that interested him — calligraphy classes! Here's how he described it:
"Reed College [Portland, Oregon] at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus, every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed . . . . I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and sans serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating . . . . None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life . . . . But if I had never dropped in on that single course in college . . . if I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do.
Steve Jobs' love of calligraphy is obvious — and moving! But "It wasn't all romantic," he explained. "I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms. I returned Coke bottles for the 5-cent deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the seven miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal at [a local church]. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on."
"Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your guts, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life . . . . I was lucky — I found what I loved to do early in life."
"You've got to find what you love," he continued. "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know it when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."
Now, let's talk about you: What do you love to do (even if it's "quirky")? How about focusing on it, giving it some energy and attention, and using what I spell out and lead you to do, step by step, to see what "coincidences" await and unfold for you?! Let's create some dots to connect in your life . . . . You have my Team and me to support you!
Is it as "silly" or "embarrassing" as reaching in the mailbox, going to Disneyland, or calligraphy . . ? ! Or maybe you love "belly botany" as Walt Disney called it — lying on the ground watching the birds, bugs, and bees ?!
"The one piece of advice I can give you is, do what turns you on. Do something that if you had all the money in the world, you'd still be doing it. You've got to have a reason to jump out of bed in the morning." — Warren Buffet
So come on — let's get to it! Let's connect some dots in your life!
My Ultimate Technique for Success Club evolved over many years after I discovered and continued to work with the Orange Cone principle. In this only-one-of-its-kind Club, I actually coach you through discovering what it is you truly love to do, and then how to look only where you want your life to go, using Orange Cones to guide you! Sounds strange, doesn't it? That's okay; Success is counter-intuitive!
It takes understanding, it takes practice, and it takes a little patience — but not much! In the same way my driving instructor rather quickly taught me the technique to successfully maneuver all around that orange cone, I'll teach you how to successfully navigate your way to your own "LifeStar" (whatever it may be — even though you may not have discovered what it is yet !).
"The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too." — Goethe
We live in a physical world, but that which we seek ("Success" — your LifeStar) begins in the invisible realm, in your mind. When we have physical work to do, we utilize physical energy to get the job done. But to most people's bewilderment and consternation, physical energy can't touch, affect, or access the invisible world.
Fact: Every successful person goes through an inner "recontextualization" — he or she has to. There's no way around it. There is no shortcut. You either do it, or you don't — period. This is why everything you tried up till now hasn't worked. None of it did the inner job that must get done!
Overwhelming proof of this fact is the now-common knowledge that multi-million-dollar lottery winners are worse off after winning all that money than before — proof that there's no such thing as a money problem; there's only a thinking problem! An inner "recontextualization" must take place . . . .
There are no problems except one: a thinking problem . . .
You cannot THINK your way into successful action, but you can ACT your way into successful THINKING!
"Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them."
— Albert Einstein
It's scientific; it's called the Heisenberg Principle.
It was actually described in the Bible:
"That which I feared the most came to pass, and what I dread befalls me." — Job
You can easily learn to change your thinking by changing your actions.
That's how my UTS Club is 180 degrees different from anything else you ever experienced! I tried everything too until I "stumbled" upon what works. I discovered the right way (which turns out to also be the fastest way!) to go about making your Dreams come true and living the life you want. If you chase money, for example, you actually repel it! Money isn't your Dream — a particular lifestyle and life's work is your dream!
Give someone one wish and most people say "I want a million dollars." Ask him or her why, and they'll say "So I can travel the world." You see? Their Dream isn't a million dollars (which are really just pieces of paper after all!); what he or she really wants is the freedom and means to travel. So maybe their Dream unfolds in a way where she becomes a travel planner of extravagant vacations for the rich and famous . . . . Or maybe he "coincidentally" meets the marketing director of a company that needs a worldwide representative who's willing to travel the globe and promote its products and services! Possible outcomes are infinite! That's why someone's focus should be on his or her LifeStar of loving to travel, not on the Orange Cone of money!
How many times have you heard a successful person say "You know, if I didn't get paid for this, I'd do it anyway — I love it !"? But he or she does get paid — and oftentimes paid handsomely, even outrageously!
And that's why nothing else worked for me (and isn't working for you either). Anything that focuses upon Orange Cones actually separates and keeps you from your Dream! Example: What motivates someone to put a "Prosperity is my Divine Right" bumper sticker on his or her car? Poverty, that's what (an Orange Cone) !
I'll show you, teach you, even hold your hand and coach you through the outer steps that lead to the inner changes that must take place for you to live the life you desire — doing what you love to do.
You'll learn and do what you never have before! You'll finally know how to focus on what you love, and what you love to do (even if you don't know what that is yet)! What you're doing now is crashing into orange cones! What a 180 it is to begin focusing upon what you love to do! And you don't even need to tell anyone what you're doing. You don't need to move, quit your job, or get anyone's permission either!
You'll literally turn your life around. It takes on a whole new focus. You'll see everything now as it relates to your LifeStar (your Dream). From the outside looking in, there will be no big changes at first: You'll still be married, have kids, go to work, watch football, and attend church. But all these elements that make up your life will rather quickly begin to "reorganize" as you finally understand and recontextualize how they relate to and fit in with your newly emerging priorities.
The inner determines the outer; that's a fact. If you were plucked out of your life and replaced with someone else, he or she would create something completely different from what you've created! The outer might turn out exactly opposite! And what's the only difference? Perception: What you see determines what you do with the very same ingredients.
Well within your three-month UTS Course Membership, you'll see and do what you never have before because, again, the inner determines the outer, and the UTS Club changes you from the inside — recontextualizes you.
For lasting change, you can't just "understand" something – you have to "experience" it! Remember:
"Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I'll understand."
— Chinese Proverb
And you know what ? It's fast, it's fun, and it's permanent!
How many times have you suddenly realized that you can do something in an easier, better, or faster way? "Wow ! All this time I've done it wrong, seen it wrong, or was misinformed or deluded !" you think, with a slap to your head. Well, what changed ? Your perception. Why did it take so long ? Because you were in your rut — you had a "brain cloud" as Tom Hanks' character Joe realizes in the movie Joe Versus the Volcano!
Throughout my UTS Handbook and Club, you're given opportunities to earn what I call Dream Tickets: assignments and tasks that allow you to move onward and upward on your path to Success — to your own LifeStar. All my Dream Tickets require physical action. They're actions you take and tasks you perform that change your perception; they change you from within, and ultimately change your outer life in big ways ! (Remember: "You can't think your way into right action, but you can act your way into right thinking.") These actions are not optional. My UTS Club is so powerful because it offers you the actions you must take if you want to change your life for the better. Dream Tickets are actions that propel you along the path to living your own LifeStar. You'll quickly be on this new path, and the only way to continue on it is to follow the path of the Tickets laid out for you in my exclusive, one-of-a-kind Handbook. This is how you manifest your Dreams — your LifeStar. You must take each and every Dream Ticket seriously and act on each one, though not necessarily in the order I present them. I created and guide you on 40 inspired Dream Tickets in the Handbook. Simply follow the path of my Dream Tickets, and prepare for your life to change — fast !
I'd like to add a visual metaphor here, to help your mind's eye visualize these actions that require you to step out into your new life in a counter-intuitive act of complete belief:
Picture Indiana Jones crossing the chasm to the Holy Grail. No pathway was apparent until he committed to, and actually stepped (action) into thin air! His physical action caused the bridge to materialize ! The Universe met his demand ! (Mere thinking can't do this; your intention must be backed with action.)
The actions you perform to earn your Dream Tickets are exactly the same: You do them to "stir up" the Universe in the direction of your LifeStar. It's like "priming the pump": Only a small amount of water (your intention backed by action) initiates the flow of unlimited amounts of water! Performing any UTS Dream Ticket is a step towards transforming your life and career:
"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." — Vincent van Gogh
You may also occasionally think that a particular Dream Ticket seems trivial, unnecessary, or a waste of time (or whatever the same mind that's kept you from your Dreams tells you). But you'll soon find that the results it yields prove that it's far from trivial, unnecessary, or a waste of time! Your intention in performing these actions, following through, and earning your Ticket is what generates results. Your intention and motivation behind the action are what's all-important. My UTS Club pinpoints, leads, coaches, challenges, and breaks down the brick walls between you and your aspirations and dreams!
"The best cure for a sluggish mind is to disturb its routine." — William H. Danforth
When just one brick is loosened, an entire brick wall weakens — and that's the work you need to do! And my Team and I, personally, are here to help you!
The sun's always shining — only the clouds keep us from basking in its warm, nourishing light.
"Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you." — Richard Bach
I love this quote ! "So what do I do now ?" you ask.
Well, to discover and begin living your LifeStar, earn your Dream Tickets ! Remember: "The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too." — Goethe
"When one is willing and eager, the gods join in." — Aeschylus
The Dream Ticket journey you're on bridges the invisible to the visible ! We live in a physical world, but
I want to re-emphasize the power of my Dream Tickets here: My UTS Dream Tickets serve not only to change your perception, but also to literally open up creative new avenues in your brain ! So how do you "make progress" every day? Dream Tickets, that's how ! Every step is fruitful . . . ! (Remember: The more Dream Tickets you earn, the farther up the mountain you go ! Performing any Dream Ticket positively impacts your life and brings you closer to your LifeStar !)
You'll find 40 inspired Dream Tickets in your Handbook that propel you out of your rut by bringing new behaviors and experiences into your life. I call them "tickets" because through them you earn admission into the pantheon of Success, where action activates coincidences that bring you golden results. As you'll learn from me again and again, Success requires action, and every action (no matter how big or small) compels coincidences that actually rewire your brain and therefore change your life.
Each Dream Ticket gives you a specific action — some small, some bigger — to perform. And each
"You cannot pluck a flower without the shaking of a star." — Anonymous
My Dream Tickets cause your perception to shift and the result is that you see the world in an entirely new way.
"If you are not as wealthy as you like, there is something you don't know."
— David Wood: Marketing expert
Performing my Dream Tickets changes your reality and leads you to your own ultimate Success too !
Example: A Dream Ticket may literally involve going on a ride: Dream Ticket #25: Take a Bus Ride: Get out of your element. Go to a downtown district and ride a city bus for at least 30 minutes.
And now you're probably thinking, "Why should I do this ?" "What will happen if I do ?" and so on. Whenever you're offered a Dream Ticket, don't ask why or what or how. Just Do It ! Your results will be different from anyone else's, but there will be positive results (and, after all, isn't that what you want ?) !
You should think of my Handbook and Club Membership as a rite of passage, the passage to wider and clearer awareness and vision, and you can't take the ride of your life without a ticket !
You're in for wonderful surprises because you never experienced anything so powerful, and so fast-acting, as what you will in my UTS Club ! It's 180 degrees from what you think !
NO PLANS, GOALS, or RESOLUTIONS!
For example, you'll learn that plans, goals, and resolutions are actually counterproductive and inhibiting ! (Didn't a part of you just breathe a sigh of relief to learn this ? That's your LifeStar trying to break out !) When were you ever successful at a goal or New Year's resolution ? Never ! Because you can't force the universe ! That's like trying to push a string across a table . . . .
Dream Tickets — which you can earn in random order to enjoy unpredictable but guaranteed results — are a major part of the key insight of UTS, which I call "No Goals!"
In October, 2010 the Tournament of Roses Association announced that Culinary Queen Paula Deen, 63, would be the Rose Parade Grand Marshal in Pasadena, California on New Year's Day, 2011 and later toss the coin before kickoff of the Rose Bowl game.
"I'm living the dream, honey," Deen told People magazine with a laugh. "Actually, no. I never thought this would happen in my wildest dreams, because I just don't have that kind of imagination!" — Paula Deen
And Paula's got it right: We live the Dream as it unfolds and reveals Next Steps to us — we don't plan or set goals; that's just ignorant and arrogant — and fruitless ! (There's an old saying: How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans . . . !) How can the same brain that holds you back and does exactly the wrong things to reach your LifeStar possibly know how to successfully set goals for you ?! It can't ! That's why Success is counterintuitive !
My path to success didn't begin with any plan or goal, but simply with avoiding what I didn't love. And as a
Yet setting goals and making plans is what's wrongly and universally taught ! And that's why you're still stuck ! But not for long . . . !
"The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek." — Joseph Campbell, who also said:
"We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us."
This is why my UTS Handbook is truly unique and unlike anything you've read, been taught, or thought before ! It's why you'll likely stay up all night reading it when it arrives ! All you need to turn your life around and upward is this Handbook — it's been over 30 years in the making ! Simply follow its explicit instructions, step by simple step !
And this is where I put on another hat:
These online meetings are filled with insights, suggestions, advice, recommendations, and personal and professional guidance. What a rich resource these powerful Club Meetings are! I always look forward to our "special Tuesdays" each and every month . . . .
"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls."
— Joseph Campbell
Let me teach you how to do this too !
And just as Walt said, "Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money," my UTS Club is a work of love for me — I'm "retired" ! Considering all the tools in your UTS Club Membership Kit, and our way-over-the-top personal attention and hand-holding, my Membership fee is actually embarrassingly low. I'm dumbfounded at the huge sums people pay for seminars, workshops, retreats, and "life coaching" ! (I've seen figures from $1,500, to $5,000, to even $20,000 and more!) So don't let my $297 Membership fee fool you — I'll hold my tongue here and just say I'll put my UTS Club up against any and all of those programs anytime and anywhere — none is more powerful or productive!
There's no comparison. My UTS Handbook alone is worth many times more than $297! No one's ever laid out a step-by-step set of specific instructions like this before, nor backed it with such intense personal, one-on-one attention and instruction — all results-guaranteed ! Once you get it in your hands, you won't part with it!
I know you and speak your language; I created it for people like us ! I'll have you doing new things and taking completely different actions that may even seem strange, but you intuitively know are profound. And then you'll not only see the results with your own eyes — better yet, you'll be living proof !
And if my UTS Handbook and genuinely unique Club Membership aren't even better than I describe here, please return your Club Member Kit for a rapid, no-questions-asked refund of your $297 Club Membership fee before your Membership expires.
When you take your first step on the UTS Club path to the Top of the Mountain, hang on — it's fast !
I already wrote the Foreword to my new UTS Handbook, but then a very special email arrived from Jimmy Longacre, the supremely talented artist and genuine friend I've worked with over the years. His beautiful works grace my home, office, and made a world of difference in many Ken Roberts Company publications throughout the years. I sent Jimmy the almost-complete manuscript of my Handbook and asked if he would look it over and consider illustrating it. A few days later, this email arrived:
"As I read through the text to ferret out the best illustration material, the impact was irresistible: ‘it is not too late ! You have all you need to begin, and everything to gain !'. As these things came into focus, I also began to see what had been missing. Ken, the tracks you've laid in your book gave me the way to move my dream forward. I feel like a kid again ! I saw clearly, again, that happiness and satisfaction belong to anyone who has . . . a dream to work toward, . . . no matter how old we may be !
"The Ultimate Technique for Success is without any doubt, the most moving, motivating and potent help I've ever received from any single source. This astounding book gives real-world, practical direction for how we can all give foundations to our dreams.
"What I was not prepared for was the radical effect the book would have on me.
"This book is not just another take on goal achievement, or attitude adjustment. You've put down the practical experiences of success, in doable terms."
Jimmy is a close friend and his reaction may not be typical as not everyone will have the same experience or the same results.
And so I'm offering 2,500 people the opportunity to become Charter UTS Club Members and finally learn the "secret" that turns your life around 180 degrees — fast ! Give me less than three months, and I'll show you a new life, a 180-degree turnaround — results-guaranteed ! The UTS Club is new, more powerful, and more potent than anything you've ever seen or experienced.
But my UTS Handbook is not for sale — it's just one powerful tool in your 3-month $297 UTS Club Membership Kit:
My UTS Course is actually self-defeating in the sense that its very purpose is to free you from all outside influences, interference, and dependence. Rather, when you find what you love to do, you'll suddenly find yourself on "autopilot"! You'll lead a self-directed life. This, by the way, is why the self-help books, tapes, and seminars fail you: It's not enough to simply hear the instruction "Don't look at the orange cone." You need hand-holding, guidance, and then practice — practical application in the real world — in your own life!
You'll be off and running typically well within the 3-month Course period. You'll become in-dependent rather than de-pendent. I expect many UTS Members to thrive on our monthly UTS Club Meetings and each always-new-and-powerful monthly Dream Ticket, so they renew their Membership because they continue to benefit so much more than its modest cost. (Why would you go to Disneyland just once?!)
Sally Ride, America's first woman astronaut, was in my Sunday School class when I was young. Her father, in fact — Dr. Dale Ride — was our Sunday School teacher. I remember Sally asking him why we had to go to church and Sunday School every week (I thought he might get angry with her!), and here's how Dr. Ride answered her question: He told us an old Scottish story about a woman who went to church every Sunday, while her husband always stayed home. So the minister paid this man a visit. The husband explained that he was a religious man and read the Bible and related books on his own, at home. At this, the minister walked over to the man's fireplace where a big pile of red-hot coals burned. The minister picked up the fireplace poker and unceremoniously pushed one lump of coal off to the side, until it was some distance away from the others. What do you think happened? Yes, the lone piece of coal rapidly stopped glowing and burned out. That was the answer. Dr. Ride then told us that this was a metaphor for what happens to people !
And that's why I hope you join us too.
I don't care how young or old; healthy or unhealthy; smart or dumb; good-looking or homely; heavy or thin; employed or unemployed; rich or poor; whether you live in a mansion or a trailer, on the East Coast or West Coast, the North Pole or South Pole; what the economy is or is not doing; or whatever Orange Cones your mind's using to protest — all you have to do is decide to take this Next Step towards your LifeStar:
"The most difficult thing is the decision to act . . . . The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process, is its own reward." — Amelia Earhart
Onward & Upward !
